The tire is broken, and I want to replace it. Can you help me choose a tire model on Amazon or eBay? How do I write the model or number of this tire? I have one question how do you tilt the table. I have tried pulling the leaver out and moving it anti clockwise but the table does not move. Any guidance would be much appreciated. My thoughts are that the bottom wheel ( being non adjustable ) is possibly not manufactured accurately enough to be in line with the frame of the machine if you get my gist. I have not had any issues with the blade coming off & after fitting a new Starrett blade and adjusting the guides it tracks & cuts well enough for a DIY machine.
I think the only way to get the blade to run central on the bottom wheel would be to have the blade running off centre on the top wheel, or somehow shimming the bottom wheel from its mount to get correct alignment, but i think it would be better to buy another bandsaw than muck about like that.
If anyone has any ideas on this i'd like to hear too.
Re the above comments on the saw dust scenario, i agree, its dire, i am going to modify mine and have a smaller vacuum tube just below the where the blade enters the frame under the table to take some dust away before it gets to the bottom outlet, i will tee this in to the 50mm hose going to my Nilfisk vacuum.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8703658530926601112.post-29833636812398716052020-03-30T00:36:21.639+01:002020-03-30T00:36:21.639+01:00Hello - thanks for this, I don't see many with...Hello - thanks for this, I don't see many with this bandsaw in the UK. I got mine used and am in the process of getting new blades and tuning it up. The blade runs in the middle of the top wheel (adjusted), but it runs right on the front edge of the bottom wheel - as far as i can tell this isn't adjustable, i don't suppose you could help with / advise on this?

Cheers,
DanBig Danhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15774133410789140140noreply@blogger.com
